Hello, we are Jeff and Kimberly! Thank you for taking the time to read our story and learn more about us as prospective parents.

Our story began at Home Depot. Yep, that's right, at the local hardware store where we both worked as cashiers. We kept each other laughing, hydrated, and entertained. We started off as friends and decided not to date because Jeff was going away to finish his schooling. By the end of the year, however, Jeff turned up the charm, and Kimberly couldn't resist any longer.

When I first met Jeffrey, he was always entertaining me with jokes and funny stories about our workday. He always has a positive attitude and likes to make people laugh. I learned early on that Jeff liked to skateboard and play video games with his friends. Jeff has a strong passion for computers and technology. While pursuing his degree in college, Jeff got to learn many different aspects of the information technology industry and now works as an IT manager for a global engineering company.

When I met Kimberly, our friendship quickly developed into a loving relationship. She is always fun to be around, whether we're going to the park, biking, going to concerts, or having a nice dinner out. It is always an adventure spending time with her. If Kimberly is not outside soaking up the sun, you will find her snuggled up and immersed in a good book or movie. Growing up, Kimberly and her family often traveled to the family cottage in Canada, where Kimberly enjoyed fishing, hiking, and spending time at the beach, making memories with her family.

We live in a two-story colonial home in the suburbs that was built in 1985. In the winter, we like to get cozy by the fireplace. We like having our family over to enjoy the patio in the summer. We enjoy gardening and love having BBQs and bonfires in the backyard, and sometimes we play Crossnet or cornhole.

Both of us grew up with siblings and lots of cousins. Jeff has one younger brother who is a traveling health professional. His parents are retired and enjoying spending their summers in Michigan and winters in Florida. They are both looking forward to becoming grandparents.

Kimberly has two sisters and a brother. Her older sister has adopted five children with her husband, her older brother has three biological children, and her younger sister has two fur babies whom she spoils with her husband. We love to take full advantage of summer and spend most of our time outdoors, looking forward to getting back to nature by hiking and kayaking. We visit our family cottage every year; Jeff is looking forward to having a new little captain steering the kayak with him, and Kimberly is excited to have a partner to build sandcastles with at the beach. We play sand volleyball with a great group of friends whose kids we have watched grow up. They are excited for us to adopt a child and have a team shirt waiting for them.
