Hello, we are Jeff and Kimberly! Thank you for taking the time to read our story and learn more about us as prospective parents.

Our story began at Home Depot. Yep, that's right, at the local hardware store where we both worked as cashiers. We kept each other laughing, hydrated, and entertained. We started off as friends and decided not to date because Jeff was going away to finish his schooling. By the end of the year, however, Jeff turned up the charm, and Kimberly couldn't resist any longer.

We dated for a few months before Jeff moved to Pennsylvania to attend college. We continued a long-distance relationship for the next three years. While Jeff was away, Kimberly finished her degree in massage therapy. During this time, we kept ourselves busy with work and school and visited each other every few months, keeping in touch with phone calls and love letters.

Eventually, in 20xx, Jeff returned to Michigan, and we were back together like two peas in a pod. In 20xx, Jeff took Kimberly on a cruise and proposed under the night sky. It was very romantic. We were married in September 20xx, in a beautiful outdoor wedding.

We were unsuccessful in having biological children and tried fertility treatments, which were also unsuccessful. On the heels of this heartache, we decided to explore adoption as a pathway to complete our dream of growing our family. Kimberly's sister has five adopted children and has been a great support to us. We cannot wait to welcome a child into our family through open adoption.
